DJ Stewpot aka Elliott Stewart, a man with one foot in disco's golden age and the other squarely in house music's heart. Over the years, Stewpot has carved out a reputation as a curator of groove, drawing on the deep energy of New York disco clubs, the pulsation of Chicago warehouses, and the soulful sway of the UK's own house and garage movement. He doesn't just mix tracks, he creates the wallpaper to a brilliant night out. You'll hear echoes of his broader tastes too, recently digging deep into more psychedelic 70s sounds, 80s synth pop, new wave and italo disco, and the kind of textures that make you move and feel. Inspired by a range of DJs from David Mancuso, Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, Mr Scruff, DJ Harvey, and others who all put the idea of taking the audience on a journey at the heart of what they do.
