Anna Aarons is a London based singer and songwriter who specialises in commercial offerings that stray between soul and pop. Anna began her music career busking on the London Underground.
Anna loves to celebrate the influence of iconic female songwriters who inspire her. She has achieved great success with her multiple sold-out show ‘In Memory of Amy’, looking at the musical legacy of the late Amy Winehouse, and more recently ‘Female Songwriters of Our Time’ which is a collaborative show of four current female singers/songwriters covering their icons and performing their own original music.
Anna’s vocal range spans from low jazzy tones to perfect high notes which can be heard in her debut single ‘Life’ (2018). All Anna’s original music releases focus on familial influences in her life and cover topics such as love, loss, rivalry, and complications, with her lyrics being accompanied by perfect musicianship from her longstanding bandmates, that set the mood for each song. Her most recent single ‘Mother’ (2024) was played on BBC introducing Oxfordshire, with DJ Dave Gilyeat commenting on her thoughtful lyrics.
